AI that never guesses

Every code JABUS proposes is checked against the live official tariff. If something can't be verified, it says so — loudly — instead of returning a plausible wrong answer. In customs, the confident wrong code is the expensive one.

One flat price per job

From £35 per declaration — £45 when you need us to start straight away in office hours, £75 evenings and weekends until midnight. Regular shipper? A block of ten declarations is £250. Imports and exports cost the same, and every declaration includes up to 10 goods lines. No subscriptions, no seats, no minimum volume, no onboarding calls. If your job is unusual — more than 10 goods lines, or special procedures such as temporary imports or goods sent for repair — we'll tell you before we start, not after.

What do you need from me?
Ideally your commercial invoice — but a plain description of the goods, their value, and where they're going from and to is enough to start. If you have an EORI number, include it; if not, see below.
I don't have an EORI number — can you still help?
Yes. You'll need one to trade, but applying is free on GOV.UK and usually quick. We'll point you at the right form and pick up your declaration as soon as it's through.
Who pays the duty and VAT?
You do — to HMRC, as with any declaration. Our fee covers the filing only. The difference with us: JABUS shows you the duty and VAT figures up front, from live official data, before anything is filed.
What's the difference between the £35 and £45 services?
Speed of start — the work itself is identical: same agents, same verification. £45 (Mon–Fri 8am–6pm) means we start straight away; £35 standard means we start the next working day. Evenings and weekends until midnight, we start straight away for £75.
Do you offer anything for regular shippers?
Yes — a block of ten declarations for £250 (£25 each), valid for 12 months from purchase. Use them as you ship; block jobs get the straight-away start in office hours. Unused declarations are refunded pro-rata. Email us and we'll set your block up.
How and when do I pay?
We confirm the job with you and agree payment before anything is filed — you'll never be charged for work you haven't approved. Payment details come with your confirmation.
Is the HS code checker really free?
Yes — it's the same engine our own agents use, and it's how we show our work. It's free to use today, and if you'd rather we take it from there, declarations start at £35.
Do you handle imports and exports?
Both — import declarations into the UK and export declarations out of it, with live tariff data for the UK, EU and US routes. The price is the same either way: an import costs no more than an export.
What if my shipment is complicated?
Every declaration includes up to 10 goods lines, so a normal multi-line invoice is covered as standard. Bigger jobs, special procedures and unusual goods happen too — we handle them daily. If your job needs more than a standard declaration, we'll tell you what and why before we start. Never a surprise fee.
What if something goes wrong?
If a declaration we filed needs correcting because of an error on our side, we put it right. And if customs queries anything, you won't be left to handle it alone.
What happens to the documents I send you?
They're used to prepare your declaration and for nothing else — never shared, sold or reused.
